Original - NEAR ZERO™ The first 4 styles we began selling in 1994 - now with Canadian tested, low emission finishes and glues. These styles show the traditional look of bamboo, in its natural tones. No stains - the colour goes all the way through the flooring plank, hiding deep gouges and making refinishing of these floors simple. They are 50% more dimensionally stable than domestic red oak floors and can be installed by nailing over plywood or glueing down over concrete. Perfect for homes and condos and lite commercial environments.
We test all our Eco-Series™ bamboo floors in an independent Canadian laboratory for formaldehyde content. The Scandinavian glues used in the NEAR-ZERO™ series contain far less than the allowable limits under the world’s toughest indoor air quality requirement standards like the European E-0 program and the California Air Resources Board Phase 1 & 2 programs. Plus, the German finishes by Treffert™ are water-based and contain no toxic solvents.
